City Hunter – What I Love Most in Episode 4

Fourth episode is half romance and half action. I really enjoyed the density of the situations. In this episode, you will see the first battle of Jin Pyo (Father) Yoon Seong (Son). The episode has perfect cinematography, most of the seen are really perfect! Some of the scenes are looking like a scene from a film or from the music video… I really love it!

Watching the car scenes really fascinates me. Yoon Seong is perfect in this scene, more especially when he chases his father who captured Lee Kyung Wan on his convoy going to the trial court.

I though Yoon Seong is going insane using his small car him on top to stop the bus driven by his father. Gladly, the bus only hit the car side! Then, Yoon Seong realizes his father could not kill him.

Scenes with Bae Shik Joong were sometimes making me smile… I can’t help but to laugh with the bubbly personality of this bald man. The heart warming scene where Yoon Seong saw her mother for the first time. Also you will see in this episode is the first meeting of the veterinarian doctor Sehee (the prosecutor’s ex). The scenes with Kim Na Na have a lot to do with foods.

The struggles of Na Na plus Yoon Seong giving her hard times… I am so in love with this scene where Yoon Seong is following Na Na from the bus. But we all kno, he adores Na Na so much that he is trying his best not to show her.

This episode also started the research of evidences for target number 2. Jin Pyu was there aiming to shot target number two. My heart went out from the last part of this episode where he saved Na Na from the sniper who happens to be his father. For sure, the next episode would be a great one too!

City Hunter – My Thoughts for Episode 3

Episode 3 is full of excitement and fun… the start of Yoon Seong and Na Na friendship. The coming of Bae Man Dok to Seoul and the Yoon Seong’s finding of evidences against Lee Kyeong Wan. Kim Yong Joo the prosecutor is also started to be visible in this episode as he is also investigating the corruption case against the congressman who embezzled the funds for poor children of the country.

This 3rd episode really excites me more and it exceeded my expectations. Seeing the action stunts of Yoon Seong really makes me more interested with the drama series. This is really flawless. From 2nd episode with lighter plot, the drama continues to captivate more viewers as the story started to build character development together with the seamless actions that started so creative.

The first target of Yoon Seong, which is Lee Kyeong Wan was jam packed with exciting stunts from Lee Min Ho… From riding the red big bike, the kitchen action scenes and the zip line crossing from the building to the port; they are cleanly executed.

I really love the idea of the package with corrupt official inside the box was sent to the prosecutor’s office for the leagal prosecution of the corrupt government official. This is how City Hunter was born in the character.

Yoon Seong and Kim Na Na also have moments together; they look so good playing in the fountain with the two kids after the congressman delivered to the prosecutor’s office for the arrest.  Watch out for the succeeding episodes, you’ll love it too!

City Hunter – What Happened in Episode 2?

Episode 2 is somewhat light in action compared to episode 1. This is more of knowing the other characters of the story like Daeha (President’s daughter), Kim Yeong Joo (the prosecutor), and the rest of the Blue House characters.

Yoon Seong was back in Korea after 7 years of schooling with fake identity. As 28 years old Phd graduate of MIT, he is finally backed in South Korea for the revenge.  Back in Seoul, Kim Na Na has been doing several jobs to pay the expenses for her father’s hospital bills, which is inn coma for 10 years.

The very first night of Yoon Seong in Seoul, Kim Na Na has become his driver but they have ended up quarelling because Kim Na Na could not tolerate the act of making out of Yoon Seong and his girl companion. You will see the appearance of Kim Yeong Joo as the prosecutor.

Yoon Seong helped Kim Na Na for the operation for her father as he followed her to the hospital to return the cellphone which she forgot in the car. The day after, Kim Na Na started her first day for her new job as the presidential security. For the second time, she met Yoon Seong at the Blue House and that was the beginning of their story.

Yoon Seong is investigating Lee Kyeong Wan as the 1st one from his five targets. The story is intriguing and mysterious how Yoon Jeong discovered and gathered the evidences for this congressman’s embezzlement and manipulations for the fund of Sunshine Foundation for the poor children foods.

The gadgets and the ways of gathering evidences are great! I bet, the next episodes will be more exciting!

City Hunter – Episode 1

City Hunter is a Korean type of drama that is considered as the best drama in 2011. This is plotted tightly, intensely and beautifully shot. It is seriously acclaimed and loved widely by viewers. The two main characters of this production are Lee Min Ho (Lee Yoon-Song) and Park Min Young (Kim Na Na).

In 1983, the South Korean armed forces sent 21 military soldiers in North Korea for a secret mission. However, after the military operatives have completed their secret mission, they were killed in North Korea by their own allies in a cover-up by their government.

The only survivor was Lee Jin Pyo, who has witnessed how his comrades were killed just beside him. Lee Jin Pyo was very angry and he promised himself to have revenge to those people responsible for the massacre of his friends. He took the son of his best friend and raised the boy as his own son and trained him for one goal; to take vengeance on the government officials who were responsible for the massacre.

Ten years after, Jin-Pyo was living in Golden Triangle, a drug producing territory. Jin-Pyo developed to be a hard drug lord, ruling his territory with armed men following under his authority.

He is unforgiving, harsh and gives punishment to his men. He has been a demanding father to the young Yoon-Seong (Poo Chai), making sure that the young boy is being though to fight and shoot. He makes Poo Chai understand repeatedly that the moment he will miss his shot vitally, he’s dead.

In spite f his upbringing, Yoon-Seong grows up becoming mischievous and playful. Being a teenager, he slipped from their compound, upsetting his father’s worries about land mines. There he met Shik Joong whom he saved from local gangs that is threatening this Korean gambler. He brought him home and reasoned out to his father why he saved Shik Joong and eventually become their cook.

The young Lee Yoon Seong (Poo Chai) was trained extensively and studied hard in Golden Triangle and brought to United States to his further study. He did everything to be a better man.

After seven years in America, he came back to South Korea being an MIT graduate from Texas. He is now ready for the revenge mission keeping in mind his father’s words that nobody should know his true identity. Never trust some one and not to love someone.

The second episode will be so exciting meeting for the first time Kim Na Na who is the love interest of Lee Yoon Seong. He saw the picture from Shik Joong way back in Golden Triangle and got interested with the girl.

City Hunter – The Best Drama of All Time

City Hunter is a Korean Drama, which is a very popular not only in Korea but also in the neighboring Asian countries like the Philippines. I can say, this is the perfect drama series I have ever watched. My favorite drama and the best drama series of all time! During the trailer, I am excited to watch this only because of the main character Lee Min Ho (Lee Yoon Seong). He is the main character of this drama series, the sexy playboy who doesn’t know how to deal with his love interest Kim Na Na played by Park Min Yong.

In the first episode, I am captured by the story about betrayal of the motherland. Then Lee Min Ho appeared as Poo Chai (Lee Yoon Song) raised and trained in Golden Triangle by his surrogate father as Lee Jin-pyo. Poo Cha was sent to America for his studies and becomes MIT-graduate, returned to Seoul and started working at the Blue House in the International Communications team department. He plans the revenge for the counsel of 5 politicians who led the sweep mission in 1983 that causes the death of his father and other comrades of Lee Jin Pyo and later becomes known as the City Hunter.

As the story develops and you see where the story is going, and you will get interested more. There is romance, and the action scenes are intense. Believe me, the drama will catch your attention, and you will feel excited what will happen next. I gave time to watch this 20 hours drama and finish it in 2 days. I just can’t easily let go since the story is really great plus the main characters are all good. I can’t easily let go of Lee Min Ho, he is gorgeous. He is handsome and Na Na is cute. They are really a good pair!

Now that this drama series is over, I am sad I won’t be seeing the City Hunter on TV anymore. Now all the episodes are out, I just can’t resist watching it over and over again Lee Min Ho’s acting prowess had improve compared to seeing him in Boys over Flowers and Personal Taste.

To top it all, City Hunter Korean drama series is a must see drama of all time. Every character is played so well… viewers might feel the same way as I am feeling; I want Lee Min Ho more!!!
